Pilates Biomechanics for Overhead Sports | 3 CECs

Biomechanics plays a key role in athlete development, as all movements have a fundamental mechanical structure. Many injuries in overhead sports stem from mechanical causes related to overuse and lack of stability in the shoulder girdle and core.
In this workshop, we will analyze common shoulder injuries and mechanical dysfunctions affecting overhead sports athletes, including tennis, golf, volleyball, basketball, and handball.
This course is designed for Pilates trainers working with athletes who want to deepen their knowledge in injury prevention and rehabilitation for the shoulder and scapular girdle.
This workshop will provide practical tools and evidence-based knowledge to enhance the performance and health of overhead athletes through the Pilates method.
